He also has been designated as a Green Advantage® Certified Practitioner by Green Advantage, the nationwide green-building environmental certification program for building contractors.

Groundbreaking celebrated at First Church of the Brethren Groundbreaking for the new First Church of the Brethren - to be designed-built by Horst Construction as part of a $3.3 million contract - was celebrated on July 6. First Church of the Brethren has been in Reading, PA, for more than 110 years. The new facility will be built on the same six-acre parcel site as the existing church. The project, which includes a new sanctuary and Fellowship Hall, is scheduled for completion in March, 2009. Mark Yerkes is the Project Manager and Curvin Hoover is the Project Superintendent.

Horst Construction awarded Lancaster Bible College, Luther Village and Turkey Hill projects Horst Construction, of Lancaster, PA, has signed a $660,000 contract to build a Turkey Hill Minit Markets convenience store (store #298) at 5400 Bath Pike, in Hanover Township, Bethlehem. The new 3936-square-foot store, scheduled for completion in the fall, features a six-pump fuel island. McCluggagy Van Sickle and Perry, of Wichita, KS, is the project architect. Horst has been supporting Turkey Hill with its ongoing expansion efforts for several years. The Bath Pike location represents the eighth store Horst Construction has built for Turkey Hill. It has also remodeled the interiors of 15 existing Turkey Hill stores and is contracted to remodel ten additional units. Read more... |
